Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Steve Thomas was born and raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and received his bachelor's degree from Ferris State. He is a 1990 graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry and has been practicing in this area since then. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, coaching six-man youth football, and spending time with his wife, Dr. Tari Thomas, and their two sons.

Dr. Bethel is a native Texan from just outside Houston. She did her undergraduate work at the University of Houston and then graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1995. She has been with Pflugerville Vision Care for 25 years. In her spare time, Dr. Bethel enjoys running, gardening, baking and traveling.

Dr. Tari Thomas is an Army brat that ended up in central Texas at age 12. She attended UT Austin and graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1988. She is married to Dr. Steven Thomas and they have two sons whom she homeschooled through graduation.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family, reading and cross-stitching.
